Midland Central Appraisal District sends petition to Supreme Court

Anyone see anything wrong with this? As I see it the Midland Central Appraisal District is looking for ways to TAX people/businesses more. They've been turned down once by the courts but they're not going to let that stop them. Since Oklahoma taxes crude in transit; Texas should too. WTF!! How stupid are these busy body taxers? So let's say they get their way. Who do you think will end up paying the tax? You guessed it. Everybody! Including those Tax hounds and the lawyers. Good thing Midland doesn't impose a TAX on themselves for the water that's stored (ehem...in transit) in all the giant water towers scattered around town. We'd be paying that in our utility bill each month too. Perhaps those people at the Appraisal office whose job it must be to figure out ways to tax sh#t need to be fired. That's the freaking problem. Huh? WTXJ... how about you pay any "new" taxes for me. I'm not on a fixed income (or young) but the last thing I want are any more/new taxes. I'm taxed out! I agree that Spending is a huge central issue. As for your argument of young people "absorbing" new taxes I strongly disagree. I believe ALL Americans should pay less taxes and ALL Government should spend less. I also believe ALL Americans should pay something in income taxes. FACT: Right now 47% of tax filers DO NOT PAY ANY INCOME TAX. The freaking Government refunds it all to them plus pays them for child credits and various other handouts. Essentially, these people make money at my expense. Does redistribution of wealth ring a bell? That means 53% of us support 47% of the population in this country. As for Obamacare...
