11-year-old girl drives 1325 MPG concept car
An impressive display, without a doubt, but what makes it even better, is its first public test run — at the annual Milage Marathon Challenge at Mallory Park in the U.K. — was piloted by an 11-year-old girl. The car uses an advanced GPS system called "Go" that lets the driver know when to accelerate and when to lay off the gas and coast, keeping fuel consumption to an absolute minimum. Young Kitty Foster simply listened to the Go system, made a few minor adjustments, and was able to complete the historic run without issue. The CDP hopes that the new vehicle, along with its pint-sized pilot, will inspire students of all ages to take more interest in engineering and technology, and perhaps prompt additional green vehicle concepts. We doubt we'll see anything quite like the CDP concept speeding along our roads any time soon, but we'd happily embrace a bump in fuel economy, should any of the company's work end up in a production vehicle.Gas Milage Ratings - News

I'm buying a car this weekend. What are the best negotiation technics?
Do not tell the salesperson that you are desperate for a car, that will make him think you need one right now and it will make matters worse because he will think he has the upper hand. Tell him you already have financing set but DO NOT tell him how much your pre approved for because he/she will try to push you into a nicer more exspensive car. Figure out how much you can afford and stick to that price and dont go over your budget. Do not let them know any of your personal finance business and dont let them try to sell you a car based on payments. Do your homework go to their website if they have one find a few cars you want to see. Blue book their value (personal, retail and trade in) figure out the median price between the three that seems fair and offer lower than what your willing to pay as a negotation technique. Dont be afraid to walk away from the dealer and go someplace else. And do not get emotionally attached to a car because they will see your attached and try to sell it to you at a higher price. Have fun shopping!!

SLEEP ON IT. Give yourself at least 24 hours. Make sure you can afford the payments (don’t forget to add in the insurance part), the gas and the upkeep on it. If that’s all good, you have yourself a new car. NEVER let the salesperson try to pressure you, if they do there is another car out there that will suite your needs just as well.Best of luck

Do your research first on what car you want and what price your willing to pay. When you go to the dealership be straight forward tell them outright that you dont want all those garbage fees and tell them if they will give you a better deal with your price research on mind and negotiate from there but don’t show your desperate…. goodluck!

Research. Explore the Internet for data that tells you how much the car you are wanting to buy sells for, and how much the car you already have is worth. Do not say anything about trading in your car, or that you even have a trade in. Ask for the lowest price they will sell your choice for. Do not negotiate. Tell the salesperson you will not negotiate, you just want the bottom line. Car sales persons are very manipulative, and cunning, and really good ones know how to extract information from a buyer in creative manners. Do not tell them how much money you are willing to pay. The only thing they need to know is your first name. And my advice to you is to think seriously about looking at Hundai. They are very good vehicles. Go to Hundai Autos on the yahoo web search and take a look.
