Joe Laurinaitis, 51, is a former professional wrestler who made his debut in November 1982 as the Road Warrior. Later, he and longtime friend Mike Hegstr united and gained fame as the Road Warriors—Laurinaitis was Animal and Hegstr and was Hawk —a successful tag team characterized by Mohawk haircuts, studded shoulder pads and face paint. Laurinaitis was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year and has written a book titled The Road Warriors: Danger, Death and the Rush of Wrestling.
Joe’s son James, 24, has made his mark in football. He was an All-American linebacker at Ohio State whose breakout game came as a sophomore against Texas, when he made 13 tackles, forced two fumbles and intercepted Colt McCoy. James was selected by the Rams in the second round in 2009 and quickly established himself as a linchpin on defense. He started all 32 games during his first two years, and he led the Rams in tackles in both seasons.
Even though they chose different career paths, the Laurinaitises are united by their principles and a mutual admiration.
JOE ON JAMES: “The first thing that comes to mind, and I think he learned it a little bit from me, is his humility. He’s had the fortune to play football in high school, in Division I at Ohio State and now for the St. Louis Rams. And it’s a privilege to play in the NFL. He carries that humility and work ethic in everyday life, too, because whatever you do, there are no short cuts. It takes hard work. And he has never forgotten that. I’m proud of James and how he has handled his success. … I couldn’t be happier as his dad.”
JAMES ON JOE: “I remember teachers used to ask me, Who’s your role model? I always said my dad. The reason was because I saw how much he loved his family. He always put his family first, no matter what he was doing in the wrestling business. He would take red-eye flights home, not just to get to games but to come to practices. He wanted to be so involved and be a part of our lives so much, yet he also was working hard on the road. There would be times when you forgot to take out the trash or do some other chore and the Animal would come out. But he was always very loving . … I want my children to look at me the same way I look at my father.”

When that win comes, there will be a big ol’ Wallace family party in victory lane. Maybe Steve’s uncles Kenny and Mike and cousin Chrissy—all of whom have raced in at least two of NASCAR’s top three levels—would show up, too. “It’ll be absolutely out of hand, for sure,” Steve says.

So only reason why 485 will be denied based on company is when the underlying I-140 gets denied i.e. Company revokes 1-140 or USCIS finds something wrong with your company which filed the I-140 before AC21 kicks in. In a separate thread there is action item for USCIS denying I-140 and ignoring AC21 which you may want to participate in if you haven't already. Assuming your I-140 is always valid than Your 485 can be denied only because of you i.e. you were out of status, have a criminal record etc. Should not have any impact - your spouse will receive a conditional GC if her GC comes within two years of your marriage. You shall (as a primary member) receive a 10 year GC. You will need to file for your wife again to remove the conditions after completing two years of your marriage. No big deal.
