Hunter Farm Preserve is a 60-acre nature preserve with an abundance of wildlife. The ponds are home to beaver, heron, wood ducks, turtles, and frogs and of course, dragonflies. The fields and meadows are a habitat for numerous bird species and over 28 documented species of butterfly. In fact, one of the largest concentrations of butterfly in the eastern United States is found at Hunter Farm Preserve.
